As the official charitable organization for the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, the Foundation works in close partnership with the Five Hills Health Region to identify the most critical needs of the hospital. The Foundation's role is to inspire and motivate, and then link donor and community support to invest in the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. Through a donor-centered approach the Foundation provides charitable investment opportunities that transform the community's goal of enhancing the hospital into a reality. By working in partnership with the community and the Five Hills Health Region, the Moose Jaw Health Foundation raises funds to:
- Purchase state of the art equipment at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.
- Continue the advanced education of hospital professionals to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of direct patient care.
- Support innovative community health programs and services.
- Provide inspiration, leadership and options for those wishing to support the community hospital.

Will I get a tax receipt?
Yes, we issue official tax receipts for all donations received.
Can I see your financial statements?

Who do I make my cheque payable to?

Can I make a monthly donation, I do not have enough money to make a lump sum payment, can I spread my gift out throughout the year?
Yes, you can make your donation through pre-authorized payments from your bank account or credit card throughout the year.
When will my monthly donation be processed?
Your pre-authorized donation transaction will be processed on the 6th of every month.
Can I change my pre-authorized donation?
Yes, at all times you maintain full control of your charitable gift. To change or cancel your donation at anytime, please notify the Moose Jaw Health Foundation in writing.
What type of tax receipt will I receive for my monthly donation?
You will receive one consolidated tax receipt at the end of the year.
I would like to include the Moose Jaw Health Foundation in my will; do you accept this type of gift?
Many long-time friends of the Foundation are now choosing to include the Moose Jaw Health Foundation in their will and estate planning. Foundation supporters who provide legacy gifts help contribute to the enhancement of health care for future generations of patients and their families. I would like to donate securities to the Foundation, can I do that?
Yes, the Foundation has created an easy to use transfer of securities form. In 2006, the Federal government made changes in its budget to make the transfer of securities to a registered charitable organization 100% exempt from capital gains charges. Can I make a donation in memory of someone?
Yes, please enclose a note with your cheque stating the deceased name, the name and address of the next of kin and their relationship to the deceased, and if there is a specific area you would like the donation to be directed. All donations given in memory of an individual will be kept confidential and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
