Private Patient Rooms

The Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital features 115 private patient and treatment rooms that are flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of patients while providing them with both privacy and comfort. Each room will be home to one patient, not two or more like many of the current hospital rooms. The new ‘Standard Rooms’ means that except for Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Women’s Health rooms, each room has been designed to accommodate any kind of treatment.

By designing the new hospital with 100% single-patient standard rooms, the new regional hospital will actually be able to provide care for more people than the current hospital. Each room has also been designed so that family members can be in the room and not impact the care being provided to their loved one.

The flexible and adaptable design of the private patient rooms means healthcare professionals will have unrestricted access to patients and family members will be able to stay to support the patient throughout their treatment and stay.

A gift to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation's supports equipping of these state-of-the-art private patient rooms with the latest medical tools to directly enhance patient care.  Please support the Foundation.  Each gift will make a difference in the lives of patients for years to come.
