Welcome to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation

Donors and volunteers are the heart and soul of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation.  This year marks the 34th year of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation helping healthcare professionals at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.  The volunteer Board of the Foundation would like to thank all past and present donors that have helped the Foundation raise over $38,000,000 to help medical professionals save lives.

The overwhelming support of donors has raised funds for:

  • Rural Saskatchewan's first MRI
  • Next Generation Digital Mammography
  • Surgical Equipment
  • Portable Ultrasound and X-Ray Equipment
  • 128 Slice CT Scanner
  • Hyperbaric Chamber
  • Panda Beds for the Women's Health Unit

“Only through donor support the Foundation is able to provide our medical professionals with the medical equipment they need to save and enhance lives at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital,” said Ryan Hrechka, Chair of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation. “To achieve our goals each year for the last 33 years is a tremendous accomplishment for not only Moose Jaw, but for every community that need medical services that only the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital can provide.  It is important that we have the newest best medical equipment at our hospital close to home.  Every dollar raised by the Foundation stays in our community.”

Without the heartfelt donations of individuals, businesses, and community organizations none of this would have been possible. The medical professionals at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital deeply appreciate all of the hard work and countless hours that volunteers committed to helping patients at our hospital. The medical equipment purchased saves lives every day and brings comfort to patients and their families in their time of need.

The work of the Foundation and its volunteers will never stop.  The Foundation works closes with the Saskatchewan Health Authority to identify additional cutting edge medical equipment and services to enhance direct patient care.  Thank you so much for your support.
