Winter Wonderland

The holidays are that time of year filled with laughter and cheer. Winter Wonderland, presented by the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, is a free and fun holiday event for the whole family.

On Friday, December 15th from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Early Years Family Resource Centre at 1250 11th Ave. N.W. families with children ages 0-5 years played and explored with their children in a Winter Wonderland. “The Moose Jaw Health Foundation is proud to support Winter Wonderland,” said Kelly McElree, Foundation Executive Director. “We are thrilled to highlight the incredible work that takes place daily at the Early Years Family Resource Centre to help children and families with this free event.”

Families brought their cameras to take photos with Morty the Moose, enjoy a delicious snack and hot chocolate, and join in many  winter-themed activities inside and out, including a horse-drawn wagon ride, and took home an activities bag. Ryan Hrechka, Chair of the Foundation, stated, “Winter Wonderland will bring many bright smiles to children and their families in Moose Jaw. The Foundation is very thankful to work with the talented Early Years Family Resource Centre staff for their countless hours of work to make Winter Wonderland possible.
